The concept of this Collcetion is "Comfort and Discomfort"

It was chosen by the company "Hessnatur" because AMD and Hessnatur did a collaboration together.

Students from different AMD locations took part in it and designed pieces fitting to the topic.

Most of the fabric was given by Hessnatur and the main task was that the collection has to be sustainable.

Only dresses were allowed in this collection

Concept

Comfort and discomfort
Comfortable and uncomfortable are two words everybody describes differently
In this dress comfort should be shown
through the nice, soft and flowy white fabric.
Because of the pleats the body has a lot
of space to move and isn’t restricted.
The denim fabric on the other hand is thick
and rough and because of the tightness
of the sleeves it’s also very hard to move.
The skirt like piece around the hip brings the
flowy fabric closer to the body and restricts it again.
In todays society a lot of people are very free
while others live suppressed and have their rights stolen. This fashion piece brings it all together and
shows what most people have to go through.
We can be free sometimes and live in comfort
while we get restricted in other areas.
